Emily Schoen is an artist and illustrator from SoCal. She gained her AA in studio art and then later gained her BA in art with a focus in 2D/3D animation from California State University Northridge. She is currently exploring the world of digital art and illustration. Her work is inspired by the natural world, animals, and fantasy-often blending these elements to create imaginative scenes that blend real life with the whimsical. Drawing from her foundation in animation and studio art she brings a sense of movement, thought out design, and life to every piece.

With a deep love for visual storytelling, she strives to bring her artwork to life through color, light, and texture. She has a growing interest in storybook illustration and dreams of bringing her artwork to books and other story driven formats that spark wonder and curiosity for all ages.

When she’s not creating, you’ll likely find her painting animals, reading fantasy books, or starting a new creative project!
